Alfreton Male Voice Choir is one of Derbyshire’s leading male voice choirs, with around 35 voices. It was founded 1903 and 2003 we celebrated our Centenary.

In November 2015 the Choir had the honour of singing at The Royal Albert Hall, London as part of the ‘Festival of Brass and Voices’ raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

The Choir is a member of the National Association of Choirs and in May 2016 had the pleasure of hosting the East Midlands Region Annual Concert at Alfreton Grange Arts Academy along with six other choirs.

The choir is constantly updating its repertoire and is available for hire for concerts and events and enjoys a lively and often busy calender.

Choir rehearsals are held Thursdays 6:45pm – 8:30pm at the Palmer-Morewood Club, 36 Hall Street, Alfreton, Derbyshire, DE55 7BU. There is a bar on the premises where the Choir enjoy a social drink after rehearsal. New members are always welcome.
